This Privacy Policy explains how ProductWrap AI ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services. We only process data we need, and we never sell your personal information.

Information we collect
Account details — such as your name and email address when you sign up.
Content you upload — you may upload 1–4 product photos per order (reference images), plus theme and scene settings used to generate your photoshoot.
Payment and billing data — billing email, country, billing address, and VAT number (if provided) collected at checkout via Stripe; payment method country / wallet type when Stripe provides them; and an approximate country signal from Cloudflare edge metadata at checkout start (not a raw IP address). We do not store full card numbers; payment card data is handled by Stripe. These location signals are kept for VAT accounting evidence and are not used to add tax on top of the displayed price.
Usage data — anonymous, aggregated information about how the site is used, collected only with your consent.
Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
Contract — to create your account, process orders, generate images, and deliver results.
Consent — for optional analytics and marketing cookies, and for immediate start of digital services where required.
Legitimate interests — to secure the platform, prevent abuse, and improve the service, balanced against your rights.
Legal obligation — to retain tax and accounting records as required by law.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide and improve the service, generate the visuals you request, process payments, calculate taxes, communicate with you about your account and orders, and keep the platform secure. We rely on your consent for any optional analytics or marketing activities.
Sub-processors
We use trusted service providers to operate ProductWrap AI. They process data only on our instructions and for the purposes below:
Stripe — payment processing, tax calculation, and billing address collection.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) — file storage (S3) and authentication (Cognito).
Resend — transactional email delivery (order updates and account messages). Data may be processed in the United States.
Cloudflare — hosting, security, and privacy-friendly analytics (with consent).
Google Analytics (Google LLC) — website usage statistics (with consent). Data may be processed in the United States.
Neon — managed PostgreSQL database hosting.
Google (Gemini) — AI image generation.
International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by our providers.
Retention
Order content (uploads and generated images) — 90 days after order completion, then automatically deleted unless a longer period is required for disputes.
Payment and tax records — typically up to 7 years for accounting and legal compliance.
Cookie consent preferences — stored locally until you clear them or we materially change our cookie policy.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. You control non-essential cookies through the consent banner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Account deletion removes your reference photos (1–4 per order), generated outputs, and order metadata from our systems, subject to legal retention requirements for payment and tax records. Order content is also removed automatically after 90 days as described above.
